The Real Media People (TRMP), led by former media professional Nilesh Thakkar, has bagged the ad sales and marketing mandate of the just launched Spin TV, a 24-hour real estate TV channel in Hindi. The name Spin TV is derived from Search Property Intelligently. It has been soft launched in Maharashtra and Gujarat, and also plans to air in all Middle East countries. Spin TV is promoted by Manish Ranch, MD of Optimus Media Network India.

The Real Media People specialises in bulk buying for top real estate companies in Mumbai. Thakkar said, “We are happy to announce that after working for 19 years in media for top networks like Zee, Star, MCCS, and publishing houses like Chitralekha, Gujarat Samachar, we took calculated risk to turn entrepreneur with 30 happy customers who gained earlier with us in real estate. So we launched The Real Media People in February last year.”

Thakkar said the primary goal for TRMP is to become bulk buyer with top 10 builders (safe and AA++) of Mumbai and break the rate card along with minimum down payment, full white payment, and no charge to investor with exit clause.

Thakkar further said, “We deal with the top levels and owners of top builders like Rustomjee, Sheth, Ekta, Kalpataru, etc., and provide 360 degree solutions for sales and marketing on news channels, regional print, outdoor and events. And we charge the builder for our service instead of charging the media investors.”

TRMP's client list includes Rustomjee, Sheth Creators, DB Reality Kandivali, Kalpataru, Ekta, Bhoomi, Laxmi (Rustomjee JV), Hub Town, to name some.

“Next year we plan to cross Rs 150 crore of buying in real estate with additional 50 investors. We aim to do more than Rs 10 crore of sales for Spin TV,” said Thakkar.
