Portfolio Night, an evening where young,  enthusiastic copywriters and art directors get to meet and share their  portfolios with some of the most senior and experienced creative people from Indian advertising, is being hosted in Delhi for the first time by Leo Burnett. Since its debut in 2000, Mumbai has been one of most popular Portfolio Night cities in the world.

Portfolio Night is an annual property of 'IHAVEANIDEA', which is scheduled to be held on May 22, 2013. Portfolio Night this year will take place simultaneously in over 20 cities across the world, including Athens, Austin, Beijing, Boston, Costa Rica, Johannesburg, Los Angeles, Montreal, New York, Paris, Sao Paulo, Stockholm, Tokyo and Toronto amongst others.

“Ever since we first brought Portfolio Night to India, we've had countless requests from the industry and the young creatives alike: 'bring this to more cities!'”, said Brett McKenzie, ADC Content Producer and Portfolio Night veteran. “It's not as easy as it sounds, but we are fortunate and most gracious to have Leo Burnett taking up the challenge. We just know it's going to be a very big deal!”

KV 'Pops' Sridhar, Leo Burnett's Chief Creative Officer - India and Subcontinent, said, "Delhi's client list is very enviable compared to a lot of other cities, considering that work on some of the largest and most visible brands is done from here. And I also believe that it is a veritable goldmine of talent with so many young creative people looking to make a name for themselves here. With the Portfolio Night in Delhi, we want to give these young creative people a chance to interact with several senior creative people and industry legends, and get direct feedback on their portfolios.”

Sridhar added, “An opportunity like this is very rare for these youngsters. Who knows, we might just end up finding the future stars of Indian advertising at Portfolio Night?"

Some of Indian advertising's greatest names are expected to be sharing the wealth of their experience at Leo Burnett's Portfolio Night in Delhi. The names will be confirmed at a later date.
