Colors has announced the launch of 'Har Ghar Kuch Kehta Hai' produced by BBC Worldwide India, and hosted by the effervescent Vinay Pathak. The programme will showcase homes of celebrities from different walks of life during their childhood days to unravel some of their most cherished memories. Starting September 7, 2013, 'Har Ghar Kuch Kehta Hai' will revisit the legacies that have motivated some of the country's most ambitious individuals every Saturday at 6.30 PM.

'Har Ghar Kuch Kehta Hai' will feature the childhood home and memories of self-made Indian celebrities including Govinda, Waheeda Rehman, Irfan Pathan, Sakshi Tanwar and Ila Arun among others who have carved a niche for themselves through sheer talent, hard work, grit and determination. Each episode, going back in time, more often than not is hugely emotional with memories of friends and families, good neighbours, friendly shopowners, and images of rooms and special corners that emotionally connect them to a life that will always seem like the 'good old days'. This series is based on a format, 'House that made me', devised by Nutopia.

Raj Nayak, CEO, Colors, said, “Har Ghar Kuch Kehta Hai highlights the significance of the childhood homes and memories in laying the cornerstone of a prosperous life. We are happy to partner with Asian Paints and BBC Worldwide India for this unique property that will enable us to showcase the emotional journeys that have shaped the lives of some of the country's most successful individuals. The show's host, Vinay Pathak, is one of the finest and most talented persons, whose affable style promises to create an instant connect with audience across country as he delves deeper into the legacy that these celebrities have created for themselves.”

Amit Syngle, President, Decorative Business Unit – Sales, Marketing and Technology, Asian Paints, said, “For these celebrities, their beautiful heartfelt memories have been influenced by the beautiful homes they have lived in where colour and simple décor created within homes large or small invariably created a sense of comfort and security. Asian Paints is simply celebrating such homes and the memories entwined in them. Of course, in our own special way we have added in a colourful surprise by way of a makeover of a room or wall for each home for each celebrity.”

Myleeta Aga, SVP & General Manager India and Content Head Asia, BBC Worldwide, said, “I am very pleased that BBC Worldwide India is partnering with Colors and Asian Paints on Har Ghar Kuch Kehta Hai. Colors has been a long-time partner with BBC Worldwide India having produced two seasons of Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa together.  Har Ghar Kuch Kehta Hai is an intriguing series as it sheds light on the growing up years of India's most revered personalities. We will be visiting every nook and corner of the country to visit the childhood homes of these celebrities, while revealing the most startling facts about their lives.”

The show will bring to the forefront some never-heard-before stories that have formed the backbone in the formative years of the lives of today's celebrated personalities. 'Har Ghar Kuch Kehta Hai' promises to bring to light the first flicker of ambition and true grit of those individuals who have inspired and served as idols for generations to come.
