Endemol India elevates Sameer Gogate to Business Head-Films

Gogate recently joined Endemol as the VP- Commercial and Strategy that marked his second stint with the organisation

Renowned television production house Endemol India has appointed Sameer Gogate as Business Head of its Films division. Based in Mumbai, Sameer will play a pivotal role as Endemol India gears up to make a strong foray into mainstream cinema in both Bollywood and the Southern Film Industry.

Endemol India recently announced the remake of Vidya Balan starrer 'Kahaani' in Tamil and Telugu by renowned director Sekhar Kammula that marks a significant leap for the versatile production house. Going forward, Endemol India will be producing 3-4 films every year with an equal mix of scripts for regional as well as mainstream Bollywood audiences.

Sameer was previously associated with Viacom18 Motion Pictures as the Director - Commercial and Strategy, where he was instrumental in putting together a new slate of films like Kahaani, and also managed the syndication business and the strategic planning for the company. He recently joined Endemol India as the VP- Commercial and Strategy that marked his second stint with the organisation.
