With Bigg Boss Season 6 on Colors coming to an end, two new shows will be seen taking over the timeslot from January 14. 'Sansaar...Dharohar Apnon Ki', a story which highlights the concept of 'family comes first' will be telecast at 9 PM while 'Na Bole Tum Na Maine Kuch Kaha' (season 2) – the missing pieces of Meghna and Mohan's unusual story – will unfold at 9:30 PM from Monday to Friday.
Prashant Bhatt, Weekday Programming, Colors, said, “We are excited to start the New Year with two shows that come with a powerful storyline and strong characters. While 'Sanskaar...' is a heart-warming story that highlights upholding family values, traditions and relationships even while adapting the new, with 'Na Bole Tum…', we are welcoming the concept of seasons for fiction shows for the first time on Colors and are hoping that viewers enjoy this double-whammy that takes over from Bigg Boss.”
'Sansaar...Dharohar Apnon Ki' is a tale of a small town boy, Jaikishen, who ran away from his family to fulfil his grandfather's dream but he is rooted to his country and holds his heritage as his most prized possession in 'pardes'. The show brings together an ensemble cast that includes veteran actors from films, theatre and television like Jay Soni, Aruna Irani, Sonali Sachdev, Rasik Dave, Avinash Mukherjee, Supriya Shukla to name a few. 'Sanskaar…' will take the viewers on a flight of emotions and transport them to a new territory.
'Na Bole Tum Na Maine KuchKaha' season 2, which takes a leap of 12 years, will be romantic and intriguing along with an inimitable quotient of slice of life, humour with a new spin. Nanhi (now played by Jayashree Venkatarmanan) who was instrumental in bringing her mother Megha (Aakansha Singh) and Mohan (Kunal Karan Kapoor) together regrets her decision and has been brewing hatred for her once favourite Spiderman.
Megha and Mohan whose love conquered all odds are today separated and distanced by circumstances. Mohan however has changed from a happy-go-lucky man to someone with a very cynical approach towards life and relationships.
Commenting on promoting the shows, Rajesh Iyer, Associate VP - Marketing, Colors, said, “We are promoting the shows on 2,500+ spots which include a media mix. This includes 25 regional music and entertainment channels and 25+ cities for OOH. Additionally, we have tied up with Big FM and are tapping 40 cities through radio and will also do a 'sankranti special' show – 'Gaano Kepech Lagaoo'. In Gujarat, we have tied up with the Bhaskar Group where we will hold a kite festival in Ahmedabad and Baroda. With regard to print, we have a rollout of 100+ advertisements. This is a very high intensive reach programme and post the launch we would use the social medium to promote the show.”
