Air India to be the associate sponsor for Tour de India along with Sony Six as official broadcast partner

publive-imageTour de India (TDI) 2012, the biggest cycling race in the country organized by ID Sports today announces its partnership with Air India who is the integral part of tourism promotion in India and Sony Six as broadcast partner. The strategic partnership will see Air India as the associate sponsor for Tour de India 2012 for races that will be hosted in Delhi, Mumbai and Srinagar.

Committed to drive participation and aiming to make cycling a national sport, Air India in association with Tour De India will take a step towards connecting people through creativity, commerce, education and technology. Sony Six, the broadcast partner marks the ongoing commitment to encourage sports in India through this partnership. As a platform that is growing in size and impact, this year in 2012, 'Tour De India' will see over 60 celebrity participants, 20 teams and around 40,000 people attending the races across cities.

Speaking ahead of the race 2012, Akil Khan, CEO ID Sports said, “We're thrilled to be associated with our respected partners. There's an incredibly strong alignment between Tour de India and the partners on board to promote cycling as a sport in India.”
