TAM Sports has released the average rating after 57 games in IPL 5. In the TG 4+ years across all-India, the average rating has been recorded at 3.33 TVR against 3.44 TVR in IPL 4 for 58 games. IPL 3 ratings had averaged at 4.65 TVR after 59 matches while it was 4.17 TVR after 57 matches in IPL 2 and 4.81 TVR after 58 matches.
However, IPL 5 continues to lead over IPL 4 in the TG 15+ years Male across SEC ABC. The average rating after 57 matches excluding ad breaks and 'Extraa Innings' remains at 4.56 TVR against 4.47 TVR in IPL4 (males, 15+, ABC).
The cumulative reach after 57 games for IPL 5 has also risen to 155.2 million among CS 4+, SEC ABC across all-India. The cumulative reach is much higher than the levels reached in IPL 1, IPL 2 and IPL 3 but a little less than IPL 4. IPL 1 had recorded 102.4 million viewers for 58 games while IPL 2 had a cumulative reach of 122.7 million after 57 matches. IPL 3 had reached 143.7 million viewers after 59 games and 157.2 million in IPL 4 after 58 games.
