publive-imageIndia's No. 1 Hindi GEC Star Plus has become stronger in the fourth week (January 22 - 28) of TAM 2012 with the top 3 shows belonging to the channel. It has also retained four positions in the top 5 list and six positions among the top 10.

Colors and Sony Entertainment Television have secured two positions each. Colors Screen Awards has fetched 5.36 TVR on TAM people meters while Sony had its two crime shows in top 10 list.

Akshara's labour pains had viewers hooked through the week, propelling Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai on Star Plus to the top of the charts this week with 5.93 TVR. The show was at No. 5 last week with 4.8 TVR.

Diya Aur Baati Hum on Star Plus has slipped to No. 2 after remaining at No. 1 for two weeks. The show has fetched 5.77 TVR this week (last week 5.88).

Saathia from Star Plus has retained third spot with 5.68 TVR this week (last week 5.69).

Colors Screen Awards premiered on Sunday, January 22, 2012, has given a boost to the channel with 5.36 TVR. The show remained at No. 4 in the fourth week of TAM 2012. Last year when Screen Awards was with Star Plus, it had fetched 5.39 TVR.

At No. 5 is again Star Plus' Is Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon which was at No. 3 last week. It has garnered 4.6 TVR this week (last week 4.9).

Sony's Crime Patrol retains its No. 6 position this week also with 4.45 TVR (last week 4.53).

Sony's other crime show CID has slipped down to No. 7 from No. 4 last week. It has garnered 4.38 TVR (last week 4.85).

Star Plus' Ek Hazaron Mein Meri Behna Hai holds the 8th spot with 3.98 TVR (last week 3.78).

Colors's Balika Vadhu has slipped down to No. 9 in the fourth week from No. 7 in the third week. The show was at No. 3 in the second week. It has garnered 3.89 TVR (last week 4.23).

Sasural Genda Phool on Star Plus has made an entry into the top 10 list with 3.88 TVR this week.
