PIX launches new property 'PIX Blockbuster Carnival'

Under this property, the channel will showcase a Hollywood blockbuster everyday at 11 pm this festive season

PIX will celebrate the festive season with its special programming lineup of blockbuster films. Beginning Saturday, October 20, at 11 pm daily till November 18 2012, PIX will air a plethora of wonderful films to celebrate Diwali in its 'PIX Blockbuster Carnival' festival, which will include titles like Resident Evil: Extinction, Underworld: Rise Of The Lycans, War of the Worlds, amongst others.

As a special treat PIX has put together varied genres of electrifying films like The Forbidden Kingdom – An American teen's adventure to China to free the imprisoned Monkey King, Moneyball – Billy turns baseball on its ear when he uses statistical data to analyze and place value on the players he picks for the team, Slumdog Millionaire - A Mumbai teen who grew up in the slums, becomes a contestant on the Indian version of "Who Wants To Be A Millionaire?", True Legend, Dawn Of The Dead, G I Joe Rise of the Cobra and many more.

PIX Blockbuster Carnival promises a fun filled month this October - block your seats, and grab the best, action packed films every day. Catch the Men in Black protecting the earth from the scum of the universe and the O'Connell family trying to find out ways to destroy Han to prevent him from reaching Shangri-La in The Mummy: Tomb Of The Dragon Emperor.

The mega-movie month will culminate with Battle Los Angeles - A Marine Staff Sergeant and a 2nd Lieutenant and his platoon's fight to reclaim the city of Los Angeles from alien invaders, Universal Soldier 3 - Luc Devereaux and Veronica Roberts continue their attempts to expose the Universal Soldier unit, Star Trek, Welcome to the Jungle & John Rambo.
