Oye! FM hunts for 'Sabse Filmi' RJ in Mumbai

Oye! 104.8 FM has started a hunt to find the new voice of Mumbai. There's now only one short step for listeners dreaming of becoming an RJ. Oye! FM is providing a platform for fresh radio talent to demonstrate their wit, communication skills and ability to entertain through the Oye RJ Hunt in Mumbai. The winner will get an opportunity to become a professional RJ with Oye!

Oye! FM started the hunt from September 6. The radio station jockeys are promoting it heavily on-air asking listeners to register via SMS. The overwhelming response on the first day itself shows that becoming an RJ is amongst the preferred career choices of Mumbaikars.

These registered candidates will be screened on the basis of a basic voice test. Shortlisted candidates will be called to the Oye studio and will be given a basic briefing on the prerequisites of being an RJ. They will be further shortlisted on the basis of their creative introduction and their voice, giving an opportunity to them to go on air in the night time band.

Based on their performance they will be promoted to the final round where the finalists will get an opportunity to go on-air in the breakfast show where each finalist gets a week to perform on-air and appeal for votes from the listeners. The final winner is shortlisted on the basis of votes and internal expert judgment, and will get a full show on Oye!
