Maxus wins media duties of World Gold Council
The account size is estimated at around Rs 40 crores; Earlier, DDB Mudramax and OMD were handling the traditional and digital media respectively

World Gold Council has consolidated its media duties with Maxus. According to the industry sources, the account size is estimated at around Rs 40 crores.
The agency won the business followed by a multi-agency pitch that included Maxus, Lintas Media Group, both incumbent agencies DDB MudraMax and OMD in the final round. Earlier, DDB MudraMax was handling traditional media while OMD was digital media AOR for World Gold Council. Post consolidation, Maxus will handle all the media mandates for the brand.
Maxus recently won Panasonic Corporate and Wipro Consumer Care and Lighting businesses worth Rs 200 crores together.
