Magnon wins digital media account of Haier
The digital media agency has been mandated to retain the global appeal of the brand while offering a local connect

Digital media agency Magnon Solutions has bagged the digital media account of Haier Appliances. Magnon will be managing the social media duties for the brand, apart from retaining its present set of services to Haier.
Haier was ranked the topmost global major appliances brand for the third consecutive year by Euromonitor International for 2012. The company has been aggressively marketing its range of consumer durable products in India and has recently announced the launch of India's first six-door refrigerator series.
Speaking about choosing Magnon Solutions for Haier's social media services, Shanta Roy Sanjeev, Head of Marketing, Haier India, said, “The consumer durable market in India is extremely competitive. To retain our edge we need to listen to our customers and increasingly connect with them by opening new customer touch-points. This becomes a business-critical feature for a market as huge as ours. Magnon was a more obvious choice for us, not just because of the years of experience but also the full spectrum digital experience that it offers. We initially hired Magnon in 2008 when the agency was engaged to develop our official website. Ever since, they have been catering to various digital needs of Haier.”
