IPL effect? Ratings of top shows drop as Star Plus maintains lead with 6 shows
Uttaran and Taarak Mehta are out while Pavitra Rishta and Pratigya are the two new entrants in the top 10 list in Week 14 of TAM 2012

IPL's first week does not seem to have affected GECs in a big way. However, a slight decline in the TVRs of the top 10 programmes indicates that GECs should roll up their sleeves for an intense battle ahead.
According to the data released for Week 14 of TAM 2012 (April 1 - April 7), Star Plus leads the pack with six shows followed by Sony with its two crime shows in the top 10 list. Colors' Uttaran and SAB's Taarak Mehta are out from the chart this week while Zee TV's Pavitra Rishta and Star Plus' Pratigya are the two new entrants.
Diya Aur Baati Hum on Star Plus continues to be the chart-topper with 5.04 TVR against last week's 5.52 TVR.
Sony is holding on to the second spot firmly and its show CID has jumped 6 positions this week. The show has fetched 4.37 TVR (last week 3.99).
Star Plus' Saathia has been able to hold its viewers this week and climbed up one position to No. 3. It has recorded 4.3 TVR (last week 4.34).
Sony's other crime show, Crime Patrol, has slipped to No. 4 from last week's No. 2 position. It has fetched 4.07 TVR this week (last week 4.80).
Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai on Star Plus has jumped up No. 5 from last week's ninth position. The show has recorded 3.91 TVR (last week 3.89).
After making an entry to the top 10 list at No. 3 last week, Colors' Balika Badhu has slipped to No. 6, fetching 3.81 TVR this week (last week 4.46).
Ek Hazaron Mein Meri Behna Hai on Star Plus has come in at No. 7 this week with 3.8 TVR (last week 4.16).
Zee TV's Pavitra Rishta has come back to the top 10 list at No. 8 with 3.75 TVR this week.
Is Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon on Star Plus is also back among the top 10 programmes. The show has recorded 3.62 TVR.
At No. 10 is Star Plus' Pratigya which fetched 3.51 TVR this week (last week 4.03).
