DDB Mudra Max wins media planning mandate for Jyothy-Henkel portfolio

DDB Mudra Max was already handling the media planning for Jyothy Labs for more than a decade. Now it has won the mandate for the Henkel portfolio too with a combined account size of around Rs 150 cr

Put together, the Jyothi Laboratories and Henkel business is estimated to be a hefty Rs150 crore. Yesterday, it was reported that the media buying for Jyothy Labs including the Henkel portfolio has been won by Lintas Media Group. But the media planning mandate has been won by DDB Mudra Max.

It may be noted that DDB Mudra Max had been in charge of media planning for Jyothy Laboratories for over a decade. As a reiteration of their faith, the client has now handed over the consolidated mandate to DDB Mudra Max.

The other agencies that were invited for the pitch were OMD and LMG.

NP Sathyamurthy, President and Head, Media, DDB Mudra Max, said, “We have been chosen for the strategic and brand planning for the entire portfolio. The portfolio was awarded to us based on our ability to demonstrate grassroot level solutions for the width of Jyothy Labs and Henkel products.”

Added Sathyamurthy, “With Jyothy Labs’ faith in us to deliver solutions based on sound consumer and market understanding for the brands, we are planning to give a refreshed thinking on the portfolio of brands.”

In the next six months, Satyamurthy informed, the brands will boast of an end-to-end refreshed approach based on the consumer understanding and challenges.
