The IAMAI promoted India Digital Awards has this year received record number of nominations. At last count, the number of nominations stood at 1072 across 33 awards for the internet and mobile value added services industry.
Announcing the nominations received, Dr. Subho Ray, President of IAMAI said, “The record number of nominations reiterates the seriousness of digital business in India. This is the only comprehensive award for the digital industry in India and we scaled it up this year”.
Digital Advertising Awards has the highest number of entries with 508 nominations followed by Website Awards with 249 nominations. The growing mobile VAS market can be judged by the sheer number of entries for the Mobile VAS Awards with 99 nominations. Best Mobile or Internet Person of the Year has received 78 nominations while Digital Social and Economic Empowerment Awards category has 69 nominations. Break-up of the nominations are as follows:
