The IAMAI promotedIndia Digital Awards has this year 33 awards for the internet and mobile value added services industry. Announcing the Awards, Subho Ray, President of IAMAI said, “This  is the only comprehensive award for the digital industry in India and we have had to scale it up this year given the variety of digital businesses that have emerged in the last couple of years”.

The India Digital Awards cover all aspects of Internet and mobile value added services: from websites to digital payment, from e-commerce to search marketing, and much else in between. The IAMAI India Digital Awards was introduced last year with only nine categories. However, building on the success of last year, the Awards this year will have six main categories and total of 33 sub categories. IAMAI plans to recognize only one winner per sub category. The six main categories are:

Last year's winners of the coveted India Digital Awards include Deep Kalra of Makemytrip, Anil Sardana of Tata Teleservices.

The last date for submission of entries is 30th November, 2011, and the awards will be given away on 18 January, 2012.
