Saugata Bagchi returns to Tribal DDB as VP

Post Max Hegerman resignation, Bagchi will be managing the agency's Mumbai office; he moves from Digitas India

Saugata Bagchi has rejoined Tribal DDB India as Vice-president and will be managing the agency's Mumbai office. Bagchi's last stint was as VP and Head of the Mumbai office of Digitas India.

Bagchi, in his earlier stint with the agency, palyed a key role in establishing Tribal DDB as the AOR for prestigious clients and developing the agency's technology skill sets.

Speaking on the move, Sandeep Vij, CEO, DDB Mudra, said, “We are pleased to welcome Saugata back on board. His domain knowledge, understanding of business requirements and well honed people skills make him a valuable asset.”

On his returning to Tribal DDB, Bagchi said, “It feels good to be home again. I look forward to handling the new leadership responsibilities, as I enjoy working across different media boundaries to ensure implementation of core business strategy. I am thrilled at the prospect of working closely with my former colleagues.”

Bagchi has about 10 years' experience in the advertising and marketing space. He has worked with companies such as Sanofi-Aventis, Pfizer and AstraZeneca, and agencies such as Sudler & Hennessey and JWT, apart from Tribal DDB.
