BIG Live announces first ever Comedy Awards

The awards will felicitate comic artists across Bollywood and television, and will be presented in association with Optimystix in end-September.

The 'BIG Indian Comedy Awards' is a new initiative from the IP vertical of the Reliance Broadcast Network stable – BIG Live. The first-of-its-kind comedy awards will felicitate comic artists across Bollywood and television. The awards are being presented in association with Optimystix, known for their expertise in this genre of entertainment.

The winners will be decided by audience poll. The award categories will be spread across Hindi feature films and television shows.

The awards ceremony will be held in end-September or early October. The awards will also pay tributes to legendary comedians of yesteryear.
