Sony joins hands with Western Railway to promote KBC

The commuters in local trains in Mumbai got a pleasant surprise when they heard announcements for the new season of “Kaun Banega Corepati” being made in local trains and on the platforms in the voice of iconic host 'Amitabh Bachchan' himself.

Sony in association with Western Railway promoted the show “Kaun Banega Corepati”. Show host Amitabh Bachchan in his unfathomable baritone voice urged commuters to tune into 'Panch Koti Maha Money' first episode of the show on 15th August 2011.

The fifth season of KBC, which went on air on Aug 15 2011, is back with host of innovative and fresh developments, top prize of Rs. 5 crore and a new philosophy “Koi Bhi Insaan Chota Nahi Hota”. The show has returned to small screen in a newer and a bigger avatar with megastar Amitabh Bachchan as a host, with an aim to expand their reach to smaller cities.
