World’s Original Digestive Biscuit McVitie’s has recently launched a new campaign featuring its brand ambassadors Bipasha Basu and Shreya Saran. The leading biscuit brand has released two television commercials which are currently on air on multiple channels.
The new McVitie's Digestive ad showcases the worldwide appeal of the biscuit and firmly establishes it as a tasty and healthy habit to replace your current biscuit. Bipasha and Shreya are well known movie personalities.They are also known to be very particular about their health regime. The advertisement showcases how they along with people from around the world are making McVitie’s Digestive biscuits a part of their daily routine –with their morning cup of tea, as a snack in office, as an evening snack etc.
Conceived by Publicis Capital, the commercial has been directed by Razneesh Ghai, or Razy as he is popularly known. The jingle has been composed by ace music director Karthik Shah. There are two versions of the TVC featuring Bipasha Basu (for North, East and West India) and Shriya Saran (for South India). With a great cast, a very innovative execution and a hummable tune, it will surely leave consumers asking for more.
There is an emerging conversation amongst people about choosing healthy food habits. The 25+ year olds are looking for healthier options for their moments of Temptation. Working on this insight, the agency has conceptualized the campaign to show how world over people are changing to healthier habit of eating McVitie’s Digestive Biscuit.
