Earlier this month, the news for Marico’s Kaya Skin Clinic hunt for a creative agency broke out. And the latest is that Mahesh Chauhan, new-found venture; Salt Brand Solutions has bagged the account. The agency won the account through a multi-agency pitch model in which two agencies participated. The incumbent agency of the account is Rediffusion Y&R, whose 'Skin Love' campaign for the company in Feb 2011 is last remembered.
As it is the contract between the two was due for renewal in June 2011 but the primary reason for changing gears has been Rediffusion’s pact with Emami for their personal and skincare range. However the account size is not disclosed yet.
Confirming the news, Suvodeep Das, Marketing Head, Kaya Skin Clinic, says, “Kaya is at a stage where we need to increase the relevance of the brand for a larger target audience.
