Growth for Colors & Sony; Star Plus and Zee TV lose TRPs

Final hit by IPL on Hindi GECs this season; GECs all set to come back to their normal TRPs.

The 22nd week of 2011 was the last week of IPL 4 so was the last hit on the Hindi GECs. Post IPL, all the channels have geared up with several new shows and all set to come back to their normal TRPs.

India's No.1 Hindi general entertainment channel Star Plus has maintained its leadership despite losing a few GRPs. The channel has recorded 283 GRPs this week (last week 300).

The second most watched Hindi GEC Colors has registered a marginal improvement and recorded 231 GRPs this week (last week 230).

The No.3 Hindi GEC Zee TV has lost a few eyeballs. The channel has recorded 181 GRPs on TAM people meters this week (191 GRPs last week).

Sony Entertainment Television has bounced back and recorded 170 GRPs in the week 22 of TAM 2011 (last week 136).

SAB has recorded 129 GRPs this week (last week 133).

No.6 player Imagine TV records 69 GRPs in 22nd week (last week 68).

Star One has garnered 40 GRPs (last week 42). Sahara One is at 32 GRPs (last week 31).
