Cannes Lions 2011: Entry deadline extended up to 22^nd April

Two more weeks given to complete entries for all categories except Creative Effectiveness Lions.

The Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity has again extended the deadline for all entry sections to Friday April 22, 2011. It is the third time that organizers have given two-weeks extension. The second extension of deadline was ending today. The original deadline for the entry was 11 March 2011 for Film, Film Craft, Outdoor, Press, Design, Direct, Media, Radio, PR, Promo & Activation, Cyber, Titanium and Integrated Lions.

However, this extension does not apply to the Creative Effectiveness Lions for which the deadline was 4^th March, 2011.

Cannes Lions had started accepting entries on 27^th January, 2011 in all 13 categories for its 2011 awards – Film, Press, Outdoor, Direct, Media, Cyber, Radio, Promo & Activation, Titanium & Integrated, Design, PR, Film Craft and Creative Effectiveness – all of which will be judged and awarded by the dedicated juries in Cannes during June.

The Cannes Lions 58^th International Festival of Creativity is scheduled to be held this year between 19-25 June 2011.
