Canaan Partners Appoints Rahul Khanna As Managing Director For India

He comes in here from Mumbai-based Clearstone Venture Advisors where he was associated as the founding director.

Venture capital firm Canaan Partners has appointed Rahul Khanna as managing director of Canaan India. Khanna will lead new investments in early-stage technology companies across consumer internet, mobile, software, and managed services industries in India. Canaan India's current investments include BharatMatrimony, Cellcast, ChakPak Media, iYogi Holdings, MotorExchange and NaapTol among others.

Prior to joining Canaan India, Khanna was associated as the founding director of Mumbai-based Clearstone Venture Advisors, the India advisory practice of the global early-stage venture firm Clearstone Venture Partners. At Clearstone, Khanna evaluated over 500 investment opportunities and multiple investments for the firm, holding board seats at BillDesk and Games2Win.
