According to the viewership analysis data released by overnight rating agency aMap, 73.6 Million viewers (ESPN + Star Sports + Star Cricket + DD ) watched the India-England encounter proving that tt was undoubtedly one of the finest match the cricketing world has witness – a Treat to Cricket crazy India. The 1st match between India Bangladesh was watched by 35.1 million thus the viewership was more than double for the India-England.
At the same time, the Average Ratings for the India-England was recorded more than triple to the match between India and Bangladesh. The average ratings for India-England match was 6.44 (All India CS 4 + ) while India-Bangladesh match had garnered 2.12 points (All India CS 4 + ).
