Uday Shankar Takes Charge As President Of IBF

Indian Broadcasting Foundation Board unanimously elects the CEO of Star India as President, G. Krishnan as VP and Sunil Lulla as Treasurer.

In the 58^th Board of Directors meeting of Indian Broadcasting Foundation (IBF) held in Hyderabad on 3^rd September, 2010, the current Office Bearers of IBF, Jawahar Goel, President, K.V.L. Narayan Rao, Vice President and  Venkat, Treasurer, willingly stepped down from their posts as they felt that other members should also get an opportunity.  The Board appreciated the work done by Goel, Rao and Venkat over the years.

The Board further unanimously elected Uday Shankar, CEO, Star India as the President, G. Krishnan, CEO TV Today as the Vice President and Sunil Lulla, CEO, Times Television Network as the Honorary Treasurer.

Earlier in the day, in the 11^th Annual General Meeting (AGM) of IBF, members of IBF elected the Board members after which the IBF Board of Directors for the year 2010-11 would be as under:-

2. G. Krishnan, CEO & Executive Director, TV Today – Vice President, IBF
3. Sunil Lulla, CEO, Times Global Broadcasting Co. Ltd. – Treasurer, IBF
