Publicis Ambience Bangalore has won the creative duties for V-Guard. TBWA is the incumbent agency. The win has come after a multi-agency pitch where Mudra and Contract Advertising were other participants.
The account size of the business is pegged in the region of Rs.10-12 crore.
V-Guard is a leading Brand with a product portfolio spanning categories like Voltage Stabilzers, Pumps & Motors, Electric Water Heater, Solar Water Heaters, Fans, UPS for Computers, Digital UPS, LT Power and Control Cables.
On choosing Publicis as creative partner, Nandagopal Nair, Head - Corporate Communications, V Guard said, “We were looking at an agency who would go beyond conventional advertising and bring about a differential thinking to the table which would add value to both our sales and marketing efforts. In Publicis we found just that with their broad operating philososphy of changing conversation around brands.”
Kaustav Das, Executive Vice President – South, Publicis Ambience said “We feel privileged to be given an opportunity to apply our philosophy of Changing Conversations by creating Contagious Ideas on one of the strongest Brands from down South.”
Vinod Vijaykumar, Vice President, Publicis Ambience comments “This must be one of the rare cases where what was presented at the pitch is being aired almost verbatim. It is sweeter because the work is radical and designed to change conversation in the category.”
The new V-Guard Voltage Stabilizer Campaign created by Publicis Ambience will go on air from October 13th across Tamil Nadu, Karnataka and Andhra Pradesh in time to catch the Dussera and Diwali buying frenzy.
