Dainik Bhaskar group had carried out a simple yet effective and unique innovation to promote the launch of Kaun Banega Crorepati 4 on 11th October, 2010 across all editions. The innovation made the page 3 ad look like the page 1 ad. The front page was shortened in width so that the page on the page 3 remains visible giving the additional exposure.

This is an innovation created - suggested and implemented by Dainik Bhaskar group.  In words of RD Bhatnagar, CTO, Dainik Bhaskar Group, “We have gone a step further and unlike other publications which provide a standard with of flap or cut. The challenge here lies in doing this across all editions big or small and in a short time as this requires different width newsprint and fine tuning of the trolleys on printing machine. My team got the final go ahead as late as 2nd October. Its speaks a lot about our relationships with business associates that even the newsprint people could act and ensure the newsprint reaching all centers. All production team then were taken on VC for the final checks. The result is before all of us."
