New Delhi: NP Singh has stepped down from the role of MD and CEO at Sony Pictures Networks India after 25 years.
In a note, Singh wrote, “After nearly 44 years in my career, including a rewarding 25-year tenure at SPNI, I have decided to move on from my role as MD and CEO.”
Sony Pictures has not yet decided on Singh’s successor at the company. Therefore, Singh will continue to lead the organisation until ‘the right person takes over’.
Singh wrote, “We have begun a structured succession planning process for my successor and hope to have exciting news to share in the near future. Finding the right fit is our top priority.”
Not sharing many details about his next move, he further wrote in the message, “Having reached many significant milestones with our team, I am now ready to focus on social change and shift from operational roles to advisory ones.”
Singh joined SPNI as CFO in 1999. During his long inning at SPNI, he has also served as its COO.
Before joining Sony, he held leadership positions across finance and operations in organisations such as Modi Xerox and Spice Telecom.
