Delhi: Zee Entertainment Enterprises has undergone significant organizational changes.
According to a Mint report, Atul Das, the Chief Revenue Officer, has resigned, and Anil Malhotra, previously with SITI Networks, has been appointed as his successor. Additionally, Mangesh Kulkarni, former head of Marathi Films at Zee Studios, has taken over as the new business head of Zee TV.
According to a recent report by Mint, these changes are part of a broader restructuring initiated by Punit Goenka, the Managing Director and CEO, who has proposed a new organisational framework aimed at enhancing synergies across Zee's core business segments, including broadcast, digital, movies, and music. Under the new structure, Goenka will oversee the domestic broadcast business directly.
The reorganisation extends to other senior roles as well: Siju Prabhakaran will now handle both the south and west clusters of channels, while Samrat Ghosh will oversee the east, north, and premium clusters.
Ruchir Tiwari continues to lead the Hindi movies cluster, and Vishnu Shankar heads &TV and the free-to-air segments. Ashish Sehgal will manage integrated advertisement sales. Sehgal will report to Amit Goenka for digital business revenue and to Punit Goenka for broadcast business revenue.
