The event was a testament to Condé Nast India’s commitment to promoting dialogue, innovation and collaboration within the luxury industry. The Condé Nast India Luxury Conclave showcased the best of what we stand for: excellence, creativity and forward-thinking. I look forward to building upon this foundation as we continue to lead and shape the future of luxury.”

For the ‘Beauty and Innovation’: The future of the Indian beauty business panel, moderated by Rochelle Pinto, Kartik Kaushik, Country Head - Henkel Consumer Brands, India and South Asia said “The busiest function in our company is the R&D team because we keep reaching out to them asking to give us something new and earth shattering. They have to live up to that pressure because at the end of the day, after all is said and done, beauty means delivery”.

Other panelists included Tejas Kapadia, VP and Head of Marketing, Tira beauty, Dario ZIZZI, General Manager, L'Oréal Paris India and Saugato Bhowmik Director - CPG, D2C, Automotive, Meta.

For the ‘Where Luxury Resides’: The rise of opulence panel in real estate, moderated by Komal Sharma, Ranjeet Oak, Managing Director Kohler Kitchen and Bath, South Asia  said, “When you used to build a new house, nobody used to take you proudly inside the bathroom before. But today when one builds a house, they're just waiting to take you because that is where the jaw drops. That's where you actually get to know what is the investment they’ve made and that's not just about money but also design”. Other panelists included Amit Pai, Managing Director and CEO, Poltrona Frau India, Angelique Dhama, CEO, OBEETEE Carpets and Vinti Lodha, Advisor, Lodha Luxury.

For the ‘Jet-Set Explor’e: Travel trends for the discerning luxury consumer panel, moderated by Salil Deshpande, Shruti Shibulal, CEO and Director, Tamara Leisure Experiences, said, “Media has a very important role to play in distinguishing brands and saying why is each one different and what are they offering to you which is maybe more connected to one person than another.

In our case, we're a responsible brand with sustainability meaning a lot to us and is at the core of our ethos. That is a part of our story. My employees have a sense of wellbeing which is important to me as a leader and that is reflected in the way our guests experience our properties. All of this has to be encapsulated through the stories which are told and the media plays an incredibly important part in conveying those stories.”. Other panelists included Aaron McGrath, Regional General Manager - India & Bhutan, Six Senses Hotels Resorts Spa and Nikhil Kapur, Founder & Director, Atmantan Wellness Centre.

For the ‘Fashion Forward’: The transformation of men's fashion and beyond, moderated by Che Kurrien, Shantanu Mehra, CEO, Designer, Co-Founder, Shantnu and Nikhil said, “When we started this brand 25 years ago, we had taken the pressure and baggage of being as contemporary as we can be. Which meant we were also fluid and there was elasticity in our design philosophy. This is what helped us transform from being overtly conventional or ceremonial couturiers to being sartorial storytellers in terms of minimalism”. Other panelists included Amit Pande, Business Head, The Collective & International Brands, Kaustav Dey, Vice President Marketing, Tommy Hilfiger, Calvin Klein and Arrow, India and Nikhil Mehra, Designer, CDO, Co-Founder Shantanu and Nikhil.
