Delhi: Shortly after The Good Glamm Group announced a major workforce restructuring, involving the layoff of 150 employees or 15% of its workforce over the past year, CEO Sukhleen Aneja is set to leave the company in July.
Following Aneja's decision to depart from The Good Glamm Group, the company has chosen not to appoint a new CEO. Instead, leadership responsibilities will be shared among key executives.
Ketan Bhatia and Ankita Bhardwaj, who serve as group brand director and director of brand and marketing respectively, will now lead the brand's business operations. They will work closely with Darpan Sanghvi, the group founder and chief executive, to manage the company's direction and strategy moving forward.
Aneja had led the D2C beauty and personal care division of The Good Glamm Group for two-and-a-half years, overseeing brands such as MyGlamm, The Moms Co., and Organic Harvest.
Before her tenure at the content-to-commerce unicorn, Aneja served as the chief marketing officer of RB Hygiene at Reckitt for more than seven years and held significant roles at L'oreal and Unilever. Specifically, she was the general manager for international marketing for Garnier in the APAC region and the marketing manager for Lakme at Unilever.
Aneja's departure from The Good Glamm Group follows closely after Priyanka Gill, a co-founder who was in charge of the media business, left the company earlier this year to join Kalaari Capital, an early-stage venture capital firm.
Her departure also follows closely on the heels of the company completing the integration of several acquired companies, which led to the recent layoffs.
According to Sanghvi, all of the organisational changes were planned and talks had been going on for a while.
