Delhi: Prabh Simran Singh, the Senior Vice-President of Customer Growth and Retention, Marketing and Ads at Flipkart, has resigned and is currently serving his notice period.
According to news reports, he will leave the company in the coming weeks.
Singh joined Flipkart in August 2022 after working at Disney Hotstar and Google.
Sankalp Mehrotra, the Vice-President of Monetisation, is also serving his notice period after over eight years at the company.
Flipkart has experienced significant top-level turnover recently, including the departures of Sandeep Kohli (SVP and head of data centres), Amitesh Jha (head of marketplace and categories), Bharath Ram (SVP of Growth and Retention), Ayyappan R (Cleartrip CEO), and Dheeraj Aneja (head of fintech and payments).
On the other hand, Flipkart has also made several new appointments.
Anuj Rathi has been named the new CEO of Cleartrip, Flipkart's travel platform.
Following the departure of Cleartrip's former CMO, Kunal Dubey, Tavleen Bhatia was appointed as the new Chief Marketing and Revenue Officer, effective April 1, 2024. Bhatia previously led Growth, Marketing, and Monetisation for Flipkart Mobiles.
Additionally, Sandeep Karwa, who has been with Flipkart for over 12 years, is now leading Flipkart Ads and has launched the insights platform Flipkart IRIS.
