Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Thursday held a freewheeling gaming interaction with India's leading gamers. The gamers included,  Animesh Agarwal aka 8Bit Thug, Founder and CEO of 8Bit Creatives and Co-Founder of S8UL, Naman Mathur aka Mortal, Co-Founder of S8UL, Payal Dhare aka PayalGaming, India’s leading female gamer who is part of 8Bit Creatives, Tirth Mehta, Bronze medal winner in Hearthstone at Asian Games 2018. 

In addition to engaging in discussions, PM Modi also participated in PC and VR gaming sessions with top Indian gamers. The conversation focused on recent advancements in the gaming industry and the Modi government's recognition of gamers' creativity in promoting this sector in India. Additionally, the discussion touched on the topic of increasing women's participation in the gaming industry. 

Reacting to the interaction, Dhare aka PayalGaming, shared on Instagram, “It was an honour to be the only female gamer at the table, discussing the future of esports.”
