Delhi: Google has introduced new AI-powered features in Google Analytics aimed at helping marketers make better decisions and seize opportunities as they arise.

According to Google's blog, these updates are part of Google Analytics 4, which has been in development for several years and will soon replace existing standard and 360 analytics tools by July 1, 2024.

The latest updates include AI-generated insights that provide plain language explanations of key data events, such as spikes in "Purchase" events on specific dates.

Steve Ganem, Director of Product Management at Google Analytics, explained, "Our AI engine analyzes various dimensions and metrics to connect the dots and explain these spikes in a clear, understandable manner."

Additionally, Google is enhancing campaign performance insights by aggregating impressions from linked Campaign Manager 360 accounts. It will also simplify the integration of non-Google campaign data into Analytics, allowing data from platforms like Pinterest, Reddit, and Snap to be automatically included in cross-channel performance reports.

Moreover, Google is introducing cross-channel budgeting and a projections report to monitor media pacing and projected performance against targets. They are also preparing to support Chrome Privacy Sandbox APIs in Analytics, aligning with evolving data privacy measures that will eventually phase out cookie tracking.
