D&AD Awards 2024: Leo Burnett, Ogilvy and VML get shortlists from India

There are six shortlists from India so far. The final shortlist of entries will be announced on May 21, 2024. The winners will be revealed at the ceremony on Wednesday, May 22, 2024

Delhi: The 62nd annual D&AD Awards have announced the first list of shortlists. There are six shortlists from India. 

Leo Burnett has a shortlist for Lay’s ‘Smart Farm’ campaign in the Digital and Social/Use of Data category. 

Leo Burnett has got another shortlist for work entered along with Dentsu Tokyo. The work ‘Project Humanity’ created for Nippon Telegraph is shortlisted in the Digital Design/Connected Experiences category. 

VML India has received a shortlist for Neeman Shoes ‘Phone Hack’ campaign in the Digital & Social/Mobile category. 

VML India has earned another shortlist for the Times of India #UnPlasticIndia campaign in the Graphic Design/Posters category.

The third agency which has been shortlisted from India is Ogilvy India. Its work ‘Megh Santoor’ for Brooke Bond Taj Mahal Tea has been shortlisted in the Experiential / B2C Activations category. 

Ogilvy India has got another shortlist for Vi ‘Human Network Testing Network’ in the Experiential / Community Activations category. 

The shortlists were announced in the following categories: Art Direction, Book Design, Branding, Casting, Commerce, Digital & Social, Digital Design, Direct, Editing, Entertainment, Experiential, Film, Graphic Design, Media, Music Videos, Packaging Design, Photography, PR, Production Design, Radio & Audio, Visual Effects, Writing for Design. 

The final shortlist of entries will be announced on May 21, 2024. The winners will be revealed at the ceremony on Wednesday, May 22, 2024.

There were a total of 12,387 entries made up of over 30,000 individual pieces of work, the highest number of entries since 2007. Altogether, 937 entries have been shortlisted so far. 

Entries were from 78 countries, the highest number on record in a decade.
