Delhi: D&AD has announced the names of 2024 Pencil winners. There are eight winners from India.
Altogether, India brought home one White, two Yellow and five Wood Pencils.
Ogilvy India has earned a Wood Pencil for Vi’s ‘Human Network Testing Network’ campaign in the Experiential / Community Activations category.
VML India’s #UnPlasticIndia campaign for the Times of India has brought home a Yellow Pencil in the Illustrations/Posters category. The same campaign has also won two Wood Pencils in the Illustration/Press and Graphic Design/Posters categories.
VML has won Wood Pencil too for Unipads’ ‘Blood Fertilizer’ campaign in the Impact/Local Solution category.
BBDO India has bagged a White Pencil for 'See the Signs of Silent Separation,' an extension of Ariel’s #ShareTheLoad campaign in the Sustained Impact/Campaign Communications category.
The Mumbai-based design studio, Ek Type has won a Yellow Pencil for its 'Nithya Ranjana' project, created for Murali K Prahalad, in the Type Design & Lettering/Single Typeface category. The design studio has also earned a Wood Pencil for Google’s Honk workpiece in the Type Design & Lettering/Variable Font Category.
Altogether 642 Pencils were given out.
