Cannes: Cannes Lions has announced the shortlists in the Creative Business Transformation, Creative Commerce, Creative Effectiveness, Creative Strategy, Film and Luxury & Lifestyle Lions categories.
There are no shortlists in the Luxury and Lifestyle, Creative Commerce and Creative Business Transformation categories.
Leo Burnett has got four shortlists, Ogilvy three and its specialist agency for Colgate, Brand David has earned a single shortlist.
The shortlist tally now stands at 54 across 23 categories announced.

On day 1 of Cannes 2024, McCann brought home India’s first gold for Fit My Feet campaign for Buckaroo footwear in the Health and Wellness category. They also bagged a bronze lion for the same campaign.
Ogilvy Mumbai bagged India’s only Silver Lion in the Outdoor category for the ‘Taj Megh Santoor’ campaign for Unilever’s Brooke Bond Taj Mahal Tea.
Ogilvy Mumbai also got a Bronze Lion for ‘The Impossible Choice’ campaign created for St. Judes India Childcare Centres in the Health and Wellness category.
Altogether, India bagged one gold, one silver and two bronze lions on day 1.
India had no Silver and Bronze winners in the Print and Publishing, Audio and Radio categories.
Announced on Monday, India had no shortlists in the Pharma category.
For the first time, Cannes Lions has decided to announce the Silver and Bronze winners at 2:30 pm each day before the evening gala event, where the Gold, Grand Prix, and Special Awards winners will be revealed.
India had sent 826 entries to Cannes Lions this year.
Last year, the Indian tally at Cannes Lions included a Grand Prix, two Gold, 10 Silver, and 12 Bronze medals where Leo Burnett Mumbai emerged as the highest-scoring agency.
