India Today, BNW Developers to host India–Russia roundtable in Moscow before Putin visit

New Delhi: India Today, in association with BNW Developers, a luxury real estate company, will host a roundtable in Moscow ahead of President Vladimir Putin’s historic visit to New Delhi.

The roundtable will feature a series of in-depth conversations on the pillars of the India–Russia partnership. Energy will be a core theme, with leaders from key Russian sectors - oil, gas, nuclear, renewables, mining, and critical minerals - sharing perspectives on strengthening long-term cooperation. India’s growing engagement in Russia’s energy landscape makes this dialogue especially timely ahead of President Putin’s visit.

A dedicated conversation on life for Indians in Russia will feature community groups, cultural associations, and business chambers that sustain a vibrant diaspora presence. Another important session will explore whether Russia remains a destination of choice for Indian students. Representatives from the Association of Indian Students in Russia and top medical and technical universities will discuss education quality, safety, opportunities, and evolving expectations.

Given the deep military partnership between the two nations, the forum will also host a dialogue on defence cooperation. Industry leaders from the Russian defence, aviation, and technology sectors, along with Indian entrepreneurs working across pharmaceuticals, FMCG, IT, engineering, logistics, textiles, and tea, will contribute to a broader discussion on economic and industrial collaboration.
