Delhi: As the 18th General Elections approach, both major political parties in India are unleashing innovative advertising campaigns to captivate the minds of voters.

The BJP has taken to social media with a series of ads featuring caricatures of their rivals from the INDIA bloc.

Countering this, the Indian National Congress released a cricket-themed spoof ad illustrating BJP leaders, including Modi and Amit Shah, manipulating a cricket match to ensure their victory.

This ad portrays the BJP as Team Hafta Kings, whose batsmen dominate the game while the opposition is intimidated by an "Extortion Department" that causes them to underperform, leading to a controversial win for the Hafta Kings, who receive a massive cheque from Chanda Vasooli Bank as a prize.

The Congress’s message accuses the ruling party of consistently employing unfair tactics to secure victories and suggests that it’s time to rectify these injustices.

In response, the BJP created an ad set in the 'Political Shark Tank' universe, mimicking the format of the popular show 'Shark Tank India.' In this ad, members of the INDIA alliance, including Rahul Gandhi, are depicted as entrepreneurs pitching their political "business empire" to skeptical investors.

Despite highlighting their extensive national presence, the ad scrutinizes their past failures and the lack of benefits in their manifesto, leading to disapproval from some investors and calls for leadership changes within the alliance.

These creative, metaphorical ads from both parties mark a new era of political campaigning as they use humor and satire to sway public opinion ahead of the elections.
