Britannia launched a campaign titled "Croissant Pronunciation Specialist Internship," crafted by Youngun. It aimed to tackle the common challenge surrounding the pronunciation of croissants.

At the heart of the campaign lies an internship opportunity, inviting enthusiasts to apply for the role of a Croissant Pronunciation Specialist. The chosen candidate will receive a stipend of 3 lakhs for a one-day internship, tasked with the responsibility of passionately advocating for the correct pronunciation of 'croissant' at the Britannia office.

Saksham Jadon, Founder and CEO of Youngun, said, "While ideating for Britannia Croissant, many of our team members didn’t know how to pronounce it correctly and that thing itself became the starting point for this idea!”

Commenting on this, Yudhishter Shringi, chief business officer, Adjacencies + Bread, Britannia Industries said, “We are thrilled to announce a unique internship opportunity of the ‘Croissant Pronunciation Expert’ for all the eloquent and articulate talent out there. Croissant in India is an under-represented category which has a huge potential supported with relevant awareness.

The internship title itself—Croissant Pronunciation Specialist—reflects the playful yet purposeful nature of the campaign, inviting individuals to embrace and celebrate linguistic tones in a light-hearted manner.”

The campaign was rolled out on social media followed by Outdoor and then a partnership with Internshala to reach the college-going audience.
