Unilever has announced that Nitin Paranjpe, its Chief People and Transformation Officer, to retire in mid-2024 after 37 years.

Hein Schumacher, Chief Executive Officer, Unilever, said,  "I am very grateful to Nitin for everything he has done in the company. By the way, he will continue as the chair of Hindustan Unilever for the foreseeable future. And I am very grateful that he will use all his expertise and experience in that key role."

He began his journey at the company as a Management Trainee in June 1987 and was later promoted to the position of Area Sales Manager after 8 months. Following several promotions, he assumed the role of COO of the company in January 2022.
