After partnering with Nike for 27 long years, golf legend Tiger Woods has decided to part ways with the athletic footwear and apparel brand.
Both Wood and Nike took to X to confirm the move.

He had first signed a five-year-old deal with Nike that was worth $40 million when he was 20 years old and then went on to win 82 PGA Tour titles and 15 majors wearing the swoosh brand.
Interestingly enough, when the 20-year-old Woods said, “I guess, hello world, huh?” at the Greater Milwaukee Open, it was only a matter of two days that Nike launched its “Hello, World” campaign.
It was post this stunt of his that Woods went from pro in 1996 to winning his first major tournament in 11 years in 2019.
Even though various other brands parted ways from Wood following his sex scandal and DUI arrest in 2017, his partnership with Nike stayed intact, so much so, that both of them have become almost synonymous to each other today when it comes to the domain of Golf.
