Sumit Sonal joins Qualcomm as head of marketing

Sumit Sonal has joined Qualcomm as head of marketing.

In the new role, Sonal will be responsible for mobile, auto, computer, XR and IoT (Internet of Things).

From February 2023 to December 2023, he was Product Marketing Consultant for Jio.

He was associated with Xiaomi India for nearly 6 years. He started working with the company as Manager - Campaign Planning in April 2017 and was later elevated to Lead - Product Marketing. From January 2020 to May 2022, he worked as Marketing Lead - Mi brand and later assumed the role of General Manager Marketing in January 2023.

Sonal began his career at Star News and went on to work across Lintas Media Group, Omnicom Group, Harman International and Myntra.
