Having joined Swiggy as AVP-Head of National and Strategic Partnerships (Food Marketplace) and later being elevated to the role of VP- Head Category, Head of Monetisation and Business Head for Private Label (Instamart) two and a half years later, Sidharth Satpathy has decided to part ways with the quick comm major.
He took to LinkedIn to announce the same.
In his post, Satpathy mentioned that as he rejoins the CPG industry next week for his next stint, Anirban Roy who had been with Amazon India for more than seven and a half years now and was last serving the role of Head-Performance Marketing India will be taking over Satpathy’s role in Swiggy Instamart.
Prior to joining Swiggy as AVP-Head of National and Strategic Partnerships (Food Marketplace) in June 2019, Satpathy was the Zonal Sales Manager at Reckitt Benckiser for a period of two years.
Earlier on, he was also associated with Marico for a period of four years across roles like Brand Manager-Innovation, National Key Account Manager and Sales Manager- Modern Trade.
In the past, Satpathy also worked with Johnson & Johnson, Hindustan Coca-Cola Beverages and HP.
As for Amazon India’s Roy, he had been associated with the e-commerce giant across roles such as Head- Performance Marketing (India); Head of Brand Marketing- Amazon.in, Acquisition, Events and Voice (Alexa, Echo); Head of Brand Marketing- Events and Amazon Devices (Alexa, Echo, FireTV, Kindle); Head of Brand Marketing- Amazon Devices (Alexa, Echo, FireTV, Kindle); Manager, Category Management- Personal computing devices and Senior Category Marketing Manager- Media.
Prior to Amazon India, Roy was associated with PepsiCo as Senior Manager - Brand Marketing, Lay's for nearly two years and Brand Manager- Juice Innovations (Slice and Tropicana) for three-and-a-half years.
He also worked With ITC for nearly four years starting June 2007, before which he was a software engineer at Infosys.
