Celebrating his 58th birthday on Wednesday, Salman Khan, who has worked in the film industry for more than three decades, has not only left an indelible mark as a 'megastar' but has also gained recognition for his association with various brands and companies.

According to Kroll's 'Celebrity Brand Valuation Report 2022', Khan ranked eleventh on the list of the top 25 Indian celebrities. According to the report, his brand value stood at $54.5 million.

On the occasion of his birthday, we take a closer look at his brand endorsement journey:

Inaugural steps - The Coca Cola journey

In his late teens, Khan made his debut in the 1983 advertisement for the homegrown soft drink brand, Campa Cola. It is commonly held that this opportunity marked Khan's initial foray into the realm of television commercials.

In his initial years as a brand ambassador, Khan also endorsed various other brands like Limca, Honda Bikes, Double Bull shirts, and more. Subsequently, Coca-Cola chose Khan as the face of their 'Thums Up' brand, leading to a nearly four-year partnership.

Somany Ceramics

Salman Khan’s most recent ad was for Somany Ceramics, which has introduced its premium bathware collection through a TVC featuring its ambassador Khan.

In 2022, the company renewed its brand endorsement contract with Khan. He was first roped in by the brand in 2019 and since then he has been a part of the brand's major marketing communication.

Navratna Oil

In 2020, Navratna Oil welcomed Khan as its new brand ambassador. Through this partnership, the brand sought to enhance its communication, reaching not only urban areas in India but also extending its presence to more remote regions of the country.

Chlormint

The 'Dabangg' actor also featured in ads for candy Chlormint, showcasing his humorous side through a series of ads where he found himself in funny situations. One particular ad even featured Khan alongside his brother Sohail Khan.

Zupee

Earlier this year, Zupee - an online skill-based gaming platform, announced Khan as its brand ambassador. With this association, Zupee aims to expand its presence in the growing skill based online gaming space.

As part of this partnership, Zupee also launched the ‘10 minute mein game ho jayega’ campaign, which aimed at driving awareness around its proposition of byte sized games such as Ludo Supreme, Trump cards Mania and Snakes and Ladders Plus, amongst others, which players can enjoy in short playtimes.

Pepsi

Pepsi India announced Khan as its brand ambassador in the year 2019. Back then, PepsiCo highlighted that Khan was chosen as their brand ambassador in order to build the brand's ‘Har Ghoont Mein Swag' proposition.

Dixy Scott and Lux Venus

Khan has also endorsed innerwear brands like Dixy Scott and Lux Venus. He has had long-term associations with these brands.

Relaxo

Relaxo had signed the actor as its brand ambassador for its slipper brand, Hawaii, in 2012.

Bharat Pe

A few years ago, the Bollywood actor was featured in an endorsement for the Bharat Pe online payment app.

Being Human

Khan's clothing brand, 'Being Human,' stands out as his widely embraced and influential endorsement. Notably, he has been involved in many charitable causes through the brand, which also serves as a foundation.

Apart from these, Khan has also appeared in endorsements for Yatra.com, Red Tape Shoes, Tiger Biscuits, Mountain Dew, Suzuki Motorcycle, Realme, Revital, Link Locks, and many more.
