Prateek Malpani moves on from Wakefit as Head of Brand and Media

Prateek Malpani has quit Wakefit as Head of Brand and Media. He was associated with the company since 2021.

In a LinkedIn post, Malpani wrote, "Signing out from Wakefit but leaving a piece of my heart behind. Nothing but gratitude that the universe aligned and put me at the right place, right time and most importantly with the right people to give me the most rewarding and exciting 27 months of my decade long career. The only place where I understood not once, but multiple times on what it means to truly go "viral" and it wouldn't have been possible if people did not provide the right environment for it."

"I have always maintained that brand managers get more credit than they deserve. From awards to appraisals, from PR quotes to exclusive interviews, everything puts us in the limelight just for being on the other side. None of it would be possible without the support of partners that act nothing less than an extended marketing team. If you have them by your side then cherish them," he added.

Prior to Wakefit, he was associated with Vedantu as Senior Brand Manager between November 2020 and March 2021 and then as Associate Director - Brand between April 2021 to August 2021.

In the past, he was also associated with Cure.Fit, redBus, Shiksha.com and Indus Valley Partners.
