Manorama News VMR Survey provides election insights for five major states

Manorama News has organised the pre-poll survey, known as Manorama News VMR (Voters Mood Research), on November 4, focusing on elections in five major Indian states.

The survey provided comprehensive insights into the upcoming elections, even offering predictions on both vote share and seat positions.

The survey utilised automated forecasting to predict election outcomes. The approach ensured the accuracy and reliability of the survey results, making it a useful resource for voters, political enthusiasts, and analysts.

The VMR Pre-Poll Survey was presided over by a distinguished panel of experts including Johny Lukose, Shani Prabhakaran, and Nisha Purushothaman. It was a massive undertaking that covered five significant states: Mizoram, Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, and Telangana.

The survey predicted clear majority for Congress in Madhya Pradesh and a slight reversal but back-to-back victory in Chhattisgarh. Though a Congress surge is expected in Telangana and Mizoram, these states are likely to throw up hung assemblies. It is estimated that BJP would grab power in Rajasthan.
