Elon Musk-led X launches ChatGPT rival, Grok

Elon Musk- led microblogging platform, X, has announced its foray into the Gen AI based Language Learning Models’ space with the launch of xAI’s Grok which at the moment is only available to a selected group of users.

Positioned to compete with the likes of OpenAI, Google and Meta on AI, Grok is believed to come out of its early beta mode and be available to all X Premium+ subscribers in the coming times.

As per X’s CEO Musk, xAI’s Grok has ‘a massive advantage’ over other LLMs owing to the fact that it has real-time access to info via the microblogging platform. In fact, the ChatGPT rival is designed in a way that it has a ‘little humor’ in its responses and has current information, unlike others.
