IBDF AGM on October 31 to elect office bearers

In a Board meeting held on Friday, the Indian Broadcasting and Digital Foundation decided that the annual general meeting would be held on October 31 to elect the office bearers.

In the last AGM held on November 18, 2022, K Madhavan, Country Manager and President, Disney Star India, was unanimously re-elected as the President of the IBDF for a third consecutive term. India TV’s Rajat Sharma and Network18’s Rahul Joshi were re-elected Vice Presidents.

Punit Misra, President (Content & Intl. Markets), Zee Entertainment, was elected Treasurer. On the other hand, Punit Goenka was representing Zee Media Corp on IBDF board.

As the broadcast industry is navigating through multiple challenges including the impact of macroeconomic conditions, all eyes are on the next leadership at the largest industry body.
